In 2018, specific initiatives were carried on to develop diversity, in particular women leadership programs. To support these initiatives, a Talent Management and Diversity Department was created at Group HR level.

A series of Human Resources initiatives have been implemented to support Neopost's transformation. As one of the key HR priorities, focus was put on recruiting and retaining the best talents in key business areas, especially in the competitive and fast-moving digital solutions market.

On top of being in contact with local schools and universities, through the organization of specialized courses and participatory workshops related to new technologies in certain countries, Neopost aims to recruit and retain talent by providing teams with an attractive working environment that encourages them to take initiatives, as well as opportunities to act together as part of the transformation and growth mission defined by the Back to Growth plan.

Strengthen loyalty and engagement  

In order to assess the level of employee engagement and identify areas for organisational improvement, Neopost has been conducting a regular engagement survey since 2017 in partnership with the start-up Supermood, which calculates an Employee Net Promoter Score.

The results of this survey enable the general management, but also the diverse business units and their teams, to identify and understand the different levers of employee motivation and commitment, and thus implement appropriate action plans within the organization. 

Digital-based training and e-learning 

In line with Neopost's digital activities, there has been a sharp rise in digital-based trainings, allowing professionals to acquire new skills and improve their expertise, in a context of rapidly evolving technologies.

The challenges of effective training are to offer innovative content, appropriate and varied formats, and personalized training components. It is a prime lever in promoting internal mobility and retaining the best talents as the company evolves in a competitive landscape.

As a responsible employer, Neopost aims to prioritize the well-being of its staff, ensure that they develop professionally and personally, and foster a collaborative way of working. For several years now, the company has offered employees the option of working remotely and adopting flexible hours in certain units, in compliance with local laws. In 2018, more than half of the units offered telework to their teams to promote a better work-life balance.
